It was great to see existing members as well as some new faces at ORA’s CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) held at Oakhurst Community Primary School last Saturday (5th March). We had a busy morning meeting each other, sharing information and listening to community concerns, at the first event of this type which ORA have held since the Association was reformed in November 2010. ORA committee members were on hand to chat to residents and one of our local councillors dropped in during the morning.
It was really good to be able to talk face–to-face with residents from several areas of North Swindon and to find out how residents are feeling about general community issues, especially our collective concerns about the proposed development at Tadpole Farm.
