Talk about groundhog day. Residents in Oakhurst are still stunned from the u-turning punch landed by the gang of four on Tadpole Farm's green and precious land when the next punch has already been landed on the East. The East has fallen victim to the knockout punch of the Old One Two aka Heenan and Bluh.
Seasoned fighters from the recent Tadpole Farm bout vividly recall the thump of the Rapid Transit Link aka the Pipe Dream Link. In rush hour the residents will be able to arrive at the Town Centre in 10 - 15 minutes by using the Rapid Transit Link. It will fly over the queue along Thamesdown Drive and Akers Way before it's been built with non-existent funding.
Those left standing in the East need to put their guard up. Rapid Transit Link 2 will be arriving in their area. If the North's Rapid Transit Link is anything to go by then it will never happen. Why does the MP persist in supporting a Council that does not deliver on its promises?
